Bio

In 2006 make-up artist, Erica Whelan dared to do what every nine to fiver dreams of doing, she left her career as a certified public accountant to pursue a more creative career. A native New Yorker, Erica began her career assisting the industry's top make-up artists. Versatility is one of Erica's important strength's as a make-up artist which is demonstrated by her list of editorial, commercial, video, and theatre clients. Along the way Erica started styling hair to better serve her clientele. Erica's creativity, easygoing personality and tireless work ethic make her a favorite among her clients.

Erica was the make-up designer for the Tony Award-winning comedy "Boeing Boeing" starring Gina Gershon and Bradley Whitford. Most recently she was glamming up the all female cast of "Love, Loss & What I Wore".

Erica feels incredibly fortunate to combine her love of painting faces with sharing her vast knowledge of beauty products. Her love of products has lead her to a spot on Allure.com's Product Finder Expert panel. Her beauty tips and tricks have been featured in national publications such as Self, Fitness, Good Housekeeping and The New York Post.
